Iran at the Crossroads of War in the Middle East

Since this is a gathering of educated individuals and an intellectual forum, I would like to discuss certain concepts related to international affairs and international relations in light of various theoretical perspectives. I will address the unlawful aggression launched against our country through the joint actions of the United States and Israel, which, acting together under a common strategy, initiated hostilities against our nation. We have now been facing this aggression for more than fifty days.

I will present a number of observations on this matter and attempt to explain the perspective of my country. I also wish to emphasize that, in the face of this unlawful and illegal aggression, we are exercizing our clear, serious, and fully legitimate right of self-defence. Our defensive actions are being carried out in accordance with all applicable international laws, regulations, and the United Nations Charter. Likewise, our response is consistent with the principles of our civilization and cultural values. At the same time, we continue to enjoy the complete support of our people.
